About Us

Our Story

Agape Missions, NFP formerly AIDS Ministry of Illinois, was founded and incorporated in September 1991 to serve the needs of persons affected by HIV/AIDS in Will County.

In 2003, the agency changed it’s name to Agape Missions, NFP as part of a strategic plan to expand existing programs and develop new ones. In 2023, we shortened our name to Agape, NFP.

The agency remains rooted in the foundation upon its establishment and is able to reach out to more populations and meet more needs of the local communities.

Agape, NFP is incorporated as a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization and is governed by a Board of Directors.
